The public pages of this website are informational. No accounts are offered and no email addresses are collected. Basic, privacy-respecting analytics are used to understand general visitor behavior.
A private portfolio area is shared selectively and protected by a password. Please do not share access credentials or redistribute its contents. This area includes an AI assistant that answers questions about professional background and work. Conversations are not stored.
Civic Health Hub allows you to create an account with an email address and password, and to save a ZIP code with that account. The site uses AI to research and summarize civic health information relevant to that ZIP code.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the accuracy of the information you provide.
Plaintext Policy lets you submit a policy name, link, or reference, which is then processed with AI to produce a plain-language summary. Submissions are processed for that purpose only.
People's Data Centers uses public library data from the Institute of Museum and Library Services Public Libraries Survey (https://www.imls.gov/research-evaluation/surveys/public-libraries-survey-pls) alongside AI-assisted research. No accounts are offered.
State Workforce Portal is an informational site. No accounts are offered and no AI features are used.
Mindful Action Agenda stores your progress locally in your own browser. It uses AI to generate schedule and action recommendations. Clearing your browser storage will remove your saved progress.
Several of these projects use AI models, including Google Gemini and Perplexity, to research and generate summaries and recommendations. AI output can be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Nothing produced by these tools is legal, medical, financial, employment, or civic advice. Always verify important information against primary sources.
Unless otherwise noted, site content, design, writing, and case studies are owned by Miguel Makes, LLC dba Michael Makes, LLC. Third-party data, logos, and referenced materials remain the property of their respective owners. Public datasets are used in accordance with their terms.
The sites are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Miguel Makes, LLC dba Michael Makes, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the sites.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the sites will be brought in the courts located in New York.
